Business Management Skills (EBMS) training conducted from November 25 to 28, 2024 at Aman Polytechnic College

The Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was a four-day program conducted from November 25 to 28, 2024, at Aman Polytechnic College in Mizan-Aman, Southwest Ethiopia. Designed specifically for 40 graduating students (19 males and 21 females) with existing or prospective business ideas, the program aimed to equip participants with entrepreneurial skills necessary for starting and managing successful ventures.

Supported by EDI Ethiopia, the SEED Project, and Aman Polytechnic College, the training focused on nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among participants. Through interactive sessions, it inspired them to view entrepreneurship as a practical career choice and provided guidance on identifying viable business opportunities and formulating effective plans.

The training emphasized the importance of cultivating a positive mindset, crucial for achieving entrepreneurial and personal success. It introduced participants to the characteristics and competencies of successful entrepreneurs recognized globally, demonstrating that anyone can acquire these traits through consistent effort and practice. Participants explored idea generation, opportunity evaluation, and actionable planning, empowering them to transform their concepts into sustainable businesses.

Participants showed high levels of motivation and engagement, reflecting their readiness to apply what they had learned to their personal and professional lives. Many expressed a renewed sense of confidence in their ability to navigate challenges, develop innovative solutions, and take initiative in pursuing their entrepreneurial goals. The EBMS training not only provided practical tools but also fostered a mindset that encourages persistence, creativity, and a proactive approach to seizing opportunities.
