A comprehensive Entrepreneurship and Business Development training session was conducted at Aleta Wondo Polytechnic College from November 13–14, 2024, for 22 women. Led by trainers Abebe Getu and Biniyam Shiferaw, the training aimed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to start and sustain successful businesses. The sessions covered a range of important topics, including financial management, marketing strategies, and networking.

To reinforce the learning, the training incorporated practical, hands-on activities and group discussions, such as the Opportunity Seeking and Brainstorming the Sawdust Exercise. These activities encouraged active participation and problem-solving, allowing the participants to engage more deeply with the content and relate it to real-world business scenarios.

The women showed great enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. They were eager to apply the knowledge they gained to their entrepreneurial ventures, showcasing a high level of motivation and engagement throughout the sessions.

Overall, the training was a success, empowering these 22 women to take meaningful steps toward becoming successful entrepreneurs. It is anticipated that they will continue to apply the skills and knowledge acquired to foster the growth and success of their businesses in the future.
