The comprehensive four-day program; Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills(EBMS), is given for 33 youth participants (11 males and 22 females) from Tepi Town, South West Ethiopia, who are either new business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs. Held from November 18 to November 21, 2024, the training was successfully completed, leaving many participants inspired and committed to applying entrepreneurial behaviors in their ventures.

This EBMS program focused on motivating and encouraging participants to view entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Over three days, the training emphasized critical skills for launching a business, such as idea generation, opportunity identification, and business planning. It aimed to foster a mindset that recognizes the importance of positive thinking, which is essential for entrepreneurial and personal success. The program also highlighted the key characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, emphasizing competencies that are globally recognized as integral to entrepreneurial success.

The training demonstrated that entrepreneurship is a skill that can be cultivated, with the goal of helping participants transform their ideas into feasible business opportunities. By the end of the program, the participants were highly motivated to implement what they had learned, eager to apply the entrepreneurial competencies and behaviors to their own businesses. This enthusiasm and their continued engagement show a strong commitment to integrating the training’s lessons into their entrepreneurial practices.
