A comprehensive training program on Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) was conducted in Konda Town

From November 25 to 28, 2024, a comprehensive training program on Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) was conducted in Konda Town, Gesha Wereda, Kaffa Zone. The training aimed to equip TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) students with essential entrepreneurial and business management skills, enhancing their capacity to succeed in their careers and contribute to local economic development.

The program commenced with an opening speech delivered by the Head of the Enterprise Office. He emphasized the significance of entrepreneurship as a driver of innovation and economic growth, especially in rural communities. Experts from the Communication Bureau also addressed the participants, underlining the value of developing business skills to tackle socio-economic challenges in the region.

The training attracted 50 participants, comprising 28 male and 22 female students from various TVET programs. This gender-balanced participation highlighted the importance of inclusive development and the encouragement of women to take up leadership roles in entrepreneurial ventures. Participants demonstrated an increased understanding of entrepreneurship and business management principles by the end of the training. Many expressed their eagerness to apply the knowledge gained to initiate or improve small-scale businesses in their communities.
