The Customized Entrepreneurship Workshop (CETW) was held at Jinka Polytechnic College, Jinka Town, from November 20–21, 2024. This initiative was organized by the Ethiopian Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) with sponsorship from the MasterCard Foundation (SEED Project). The workshop aimed to provide participants with essential entrepreneurial skills to foster business growth and innovation.

The event was facilitated in collaboration with Jinka Polytechnic College, which provided the training venue and other logistical support. A total of 27 participants were planned for the training, and 25 participants (all female) successfully completed the program and received certification. This full female representation underscored the program’s focus on empowering women entrepreneurs in the region.

The workshop's modules were delivered effectively by the assigned trainers, with participants actively engaging in the sessions. Despite a few participants being unable to complete the program, the training was successfully conducted, equipping the attendees with practical skills and a strong entrepreneurial foundation.

The Customized Entrepreneurship Workshop in Jinka represents a vital step in promoting women's entrepreneurship in the area, ensuring that participants are empowered to contribute to their local economies and drive positive change within their communities.
