EBMS is inspiring and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs at Wolkite

Forty young participants—17 women and 13 men—joined a four-day training program aimed at inspiring and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. As they gathered for the first session, emotions ranged from hesitant curiosity to cautious optimism, as they wondered what the experience would bring.

A core component of the program was the Business Creation Exercise (BCE), a hands-on activity that seamlessly integrated theoretical knowledge with real-world problem-solving. The exercise encouraged participants to leverage their diverse backgrounds, fostering collaborative thinking and sparking innovative ideas. The variety of expertise among the participants made the discussions dynamic and enriching, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Throughout the training, participants engaged deeply with the content, building confidence through interactive activities and meaningful exchanges. By the final session, many described the experience as life-changing, noting how it had reshaped their perspectives and provided them with invaluable entrepreneurial skills.

By the end of the program, participants left with a clearer vision of their potential and a strong desire to implement what they had learned. The training proved to be more than just an academic endeavor—it was a catalyst for personal and professional growth, instilling a renewed sense of purpose and determination in each participant.
