EBMS training for 160 unemployed young and recently graduated students, Mekoni Town

In honor of Global Entrepreneurship Week, we are pleased to announce the start of EBMS training for 160 unemployed young and recently graduated students from Mekoni Town, South Tigray. The program is intended to provide participants with the necessary skills and information to support self-employment in today's dynamic work market. The training is especially important since it addresses the issues that young people face in today's economy. With rising graduate unemployment rates, providing practical skills to young people can contribute to job creation and economic growth.
Mr. Redae Birhanu, Mayor of Mekoni Town, officially opened the workshop. He welcomed the attendees and stated that there are global campaigns promoting the importance of SMEs in job creation and their impact on developing nations' progress. He emphasized that in order to compete in the global market, Tigray and Ethiopia's SMEs must constantly improve their entrepreneurial abilities and competencies. This is the basic rationale for EDI's involvement and investment in these workshops: to provide participants with a deeper grasp of the competencies required to improve their business success. 
Mr. Redae concluded by congratulating the participants on the inclusion of EDI Trainers in the training and development of entrepreneurs, exposing them to a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial abilities required to strengthen their enterprises. He also asked participants to actively participate in all conversations during the training session.
