The EBMS training, Organized collaboratively by the Jinka Town Enterprise Office and Jinka Polytechnic College is held on November 11

The EBMS training, held from November 11 to 14, 2024, aimed to equip youth with essential skills for starting and managing businesses, solving problems, fostering innovation, and ensuring profitability through strategic planning and effective leadership. Key objectives included enabling participants to develop and apply fundamental business skills by running their own ventures over a four-day period, empowering them to overcome challenges by unlocking their full potential, and inspiring a proactive mindset to achieve success in both business and life.

Organized collaboratively by the Jinka Town Enterprise Office, Jinka Polytechnic College, and the Ethiopian Development Institute (EDI), the training began with an opening speech by Mr. Kasahun Getachew, Dean of Jinka Polytechnic College, alongside Mr. Gezahegn Gesese, representing the Enterprise Office and serving as the EDI training facilitator. The program saw active participation from 40 individuals, including 23 males and 17 females, who engaged in hands-on learning, completed the Business Creation Exercise (BCE), and collaborated on team projects.

The closing ceremony included a feedback session, expressions of gratitude to contributors, and a certification ceremony led by Mr. Gezahegn Gesese, concluding with a group photo to commemorate the event.

Trainers observed a remarkable shift in participants’ attitudes toward their life and business aspirations, reflecting their increased confidence and motivation. However, it was evident that ongoing support and mentorship would be crucial to helping participants fully realize their potential and translate their learnings into sustainable success.
