An EBMS training was conducted in Sylem Town, Gesha Woreda

From November 25–28, 2024, an Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was conducted in Sylem Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia. This program targeted Technical and Vocational Training (TVT) students, equipping them with essential entrepreneurial and business management skills to enhance their ability to start and manage businesses effectively while contributing to the local economy.

The training attracted 51 participants, comprising 41 males and 10 females. The event began with an opening speech by the Head of the Enterprise Office, joined by experts from the Communication Bureau. These speakers underscored the vital role of entrepreneurship in driving local economic development, promoting job creation, and addressing community challenges. Participants were encouraged to fully engage in the sessions to maximize their learning and practical skill development.

The training employed interactive discussions and group exercises, enabling participants to apply entrepreneurial concepts in realistic scenarios. By the end of the four-day program, participants reported enhanced confidence and a clear understanding of how to establish and manage sustainable businesses, leaving them better prepared to contribute to their communities' economic growth.
