EDI Ethiopia, in collaboration with Awash Bank, organized an impactful Entrepreneurial Growth and Business Management Training program for Awash Bank clients in Hawassa city, hosted at Central Hotel. This training, aligned with Global Entrepreneurship Week, underscores the transformative potential of entrepreneurship in fostering economic progress and job creation.

Designed to enhance participants' business management capabilities, the program offered a comprehensive curriculum blending interactive sessions and practical workshops. Participants explored essential topics, including goal setting, financial management, human resource practices, entrepreneurial competencies, and marketing strategies tailored to the Ethiopian context.

This initiative reflects the shared vision of EDI Ethiopia and Awash Bank to empower local entrepreneurs, strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and contribute to a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. By providing entrepreneurs with the tools to grow and innovate, the program not only supports individual business success but also advances sustainable development goals.

As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations, the training highlighted the importance of fostering innovation and equipping entrepreneurs with the resources they need to excel. With a total of 22 participants—8 males and 14 females—the program showcased a strong commitment to inclusivity and the advancement of diverse entrepreneurial talents. Together, EDI Ethiopia and Awash Bank continue to inspire a culture of entrepreneurship that drives growth and prosperity across Ethiopia.
