EDI – Ethiopia Debre Markos Branch organized project review meeting

Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) – Ethiopia Debre Markos Branch organized project review meeting for both women entrepreneurship Development Project (WEDP) and SEED projects today. A total of 65 participants participated on the review meeting from D/Markos Town. The Mayor and higher city government officials, Banks, Labor and Skill office management staffs, Debre-Markos Poly Technique College Heads ,the Ccty Council Members, EDI Staff and SEED program delegate and coordinator Dr. Andargachew Leyew participated in the review meeting. During the meeting, EDI-Ethiopia staff and SEED program coordinator presented the two years performance and challenged the participants.
Basically, the following contents were addressed:-
1.  Overview of EDI-Ethiopia 
2.  WEDP & SEED Programs Overview
      2.1. Promotion and outreach 
      2.2. Member’s registration
      2.3. Training 
      2.4. Loan and
      2.5. BDS Service Reports
Based On the above contents both WEDP and SEED project major achievement and challenges were clearly presented.

 The SUCCESS Story intervention visibility was also presented. 

Each participants plan and take their roles and responsibility to interlink the EDI-Ethiopia vision, mission and tasks to create dignified entrepreneurs in the surrounding of the city.
Concluding the meeting, the Mayor and other higher officials acknowledged EDI-Ethiopia's efforts that bring visible impact with the initiatives implemented in the city (WEDP and SEED) in this difficult time. The Mayor finally asked the institution to get other training modalities like ETW for Medium level entrepreneurs and public service and higher officials entrepreneurship trainings for government officials.
