Empowering IDP Youth: EDI Launches Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skill Training in Shire, Tigray
The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) is taking a significant step towards empowering youth from internally displaced persons (IDP) communities in Shire, Tigray. The institute has launched a four-day intensive training program focused on Entrepreneurship and Business Management skills for 240 aspiring young entrepreneurs.
A notable aspect of this initiative is the inclusion of 138 female participants, underscoring EDI's commitment to gender equality and empowering women in business. This training session marks the 282nd round of EBMS training in Tigray since.
Aligned with the ongoing Global Entrepreneurship Week, EDI aims to foster a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. By providing essential business skills and knowledge, the institute empowers young people to create sustainable livelihoods and contribute to the economic growth of their communities.
