The Entrepreneurial Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held at Deka TVET College from November 20–23, 2024. This comprehensive four-day program aimed to equip 44 final-year students (26 males and 18 females) with critical entrepreneurial and business management skills to prepare them for professional endeavors and foster post-graduation success.

The training was inaugurated by Mr. Mathiwose, the Dean of Deka TVET College, who emphasized entrepreneurship as a key solution to unemployment and a driver of sustainable development. He highlighted the strategic partnership between the college and the Woreda Enterprise Office, underscoring its importance in supporting graduates' entrepreneurial ventures.

Participants were organized into enterprise groups by the college's enterprise office to facilitate hands-on, team-based learning. This arrangement, complemented by guidance from the enterprise office upon graduation, ensures the trainees receive practical support in launching and managing their businesses. This collaborative effort provides a robust foundation for the students to thrive as future entrepreneurs, contributing to both community and economic development.
