Entrepreneurial Growth and Business Management Workshop
Awash Bank, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), held a workshop on entrepreneurial growth and business management in Wolayita Sodo from November 5 to 8, 2024. The workshop was divided into two sessions to accommodate all participants. Mr. Zelalem Bekele, District Director of Awash Bank in Wolayita Sodo, opened the event, highlighting its support for SME growth.
A total of 47 participants (13 women and 34 men) were pre-selected from various SMEs. Six trainers led the sessions, focusing on essential business and management skills. Participants described the workshop as inspiring and informative, with calls for additional sessions in the future. Mr. Ephrem Markos, Regional Area Manager, gave the closing remarks, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding business projects. Certificates were awarded to all participants.
