The Entrepreneurs Growth and Business Management Workshop (EGBMW) is held in Bonga town

The Entrepreneurs Growth and Business Management Workshop (EGBMW), held in Bonga town from November 12 to 15, 2024, marked a significant collaborative effort between Awash Bank and the Entrepreneurs Development Institute. The workshop aimed to equip local entrepreneurs with essential business management skills to foster growth and development in the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector.

 

The event successfully brought together a diverse group of 34 participants, comprising 6 female and 28 male entrepreneurs representing various SMEs in the region. The workshop commenced with an inspiring opening address by Mr. Yasayehegn Yacob, the Branch Manager of Awash Bank. His remarks emphasized the critical role of SMEs in driving local economic growth and the importance of equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive market. His speech set a positive tone and encouraged active participation throughout the event. Participants were actively engaged through group discussions, practical exercises, which helped bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications.

 

The EGBMW workshop in Bonga town was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Awash Bank and the Entrepreneurs Development Institute. The event not only empowered local entrepreneurs with essential skills but also strengthened the foundation for SME growth in the region.
