Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training held at Aman Polytechnic College in Southwest Ethiopia for 37 youth participants

The Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training, held from November 25–28, 2024 at Aman Polytechnic College in Southwest Ethiopia, brought together 37 youth participants (19 males and 18 females) from the graduating class. Designed for those running small businesses or aspiring entrepreneurs, the program aimed to inspire participants to view entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

This four-day training focused on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, teaching practical skills like idea generation, opportunity identification, and business planning. By highlighting the key traits and competencies of successful entrepreneurs worldwide, it reinforced that entrepreneurial success can be cultivated. Participants were encouraged to transform their ideas into viable opportunities and embrace positive attitudes essential for personal and business growth.

Though the training is still ongoing, participants have shown remarkable enthusiasm, actively applying the concepts and exercises discussed. Supported by EDI Ethiopia, the SEED project, and Aman Polytechnic College, the program continues to empower participants to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into their future endeavors.
