Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held at Hossanna Health College

From November 20-23, 2024, the Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held at Hossanna Health College, bringing together 52 participants, including 23 refugees, 11 internally displaced persons, and 18 other community members, under the coordination of the Hossanna City Employee and Social Affairs Office. The training aimed to instill a proactive mindset, equipping participants with the tools to anticipate challenges, unlock their potential, and overcome obstacles. Key topics included personal initiative, business idea generation, profitability analysis, and the formulation of viable business hypotheses, alongside goal-setting and business planning strategies. Participants praised the program’s practical focus, highlighting its unique emphasis on sustaining businesses and strengthening customer relationships. Many expressed a desire for similar training to reach more vulnerable groups. 

The successful completion of the program left participants inspired and better prepared to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities, marking a significant step toward fostering community resilience and economic empowerment.
