Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills(EBMS) training in Southwest Ethiopia Wacha City

EDI delivered the Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skills (EBMS) training in Southwest Ethiopia Wacha City from Nov 18-21, 2024, mobilizing significant resources to encourage youth engagement in business and entrepreneurship. The session targeted 37 enthusiastic participants, primarily young individuals who had already formed enterprises and were preparing to launch their own businesses. Facilitated by EBMS trainers Keralem Mengiste and Lelaneh Nebiyu from Mizan ATVET, the training focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as entrepreneurs.

Initially, participants were cautious and reserved, but their engagement grew steadily throughout the sessions, particularly during the opportunity identification exercises. By the conclusion, the training atmosphere was vibrant with lively discussions and optimism. While the program revealed the strong potential of future enterprises, some bureaucratic barriers remain, necessitating additional PEIEB training to address these challenges and further empower entrepreneurs.
