An Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held in Sylem Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone

An Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held in Sylem Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia, from November 25th to November 28th, 2024. The training aimed to equip Technical and Vocational Training (TVT) students with key entrepreneurial and business management skills, preparing them to effectively manage businesses and contribute to the local economy.

A total of 51 participants attended the training, consisting of 41 males and 10 females. The training began with an opening speech delivered by the Enterprise Office Head, accompanied by experts from the Communication Bureau. The speakers emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in fostering local economic growth and job creation. They encouraged the participants to take full advantage of the training to develop practical skills that would serve them well in their future business endeavors.

 

The training combined interactive discussions, group exercises, allowing participants to apply the concepts and strategies in a practical setting. Finally the participants left the training equipped with new knowledge and a greater sense of confidence to start and manage businesses.
