The Entrepreneurship Development Training program commenced at Assela Athlete Kananisa Polytechnic College

The Entrepreneurship Development Training program commenced at Asella Athlete Kananisa Polytechnic College. The program is organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute and the Oromia Job Opportunity and Innovation Bureau. A total of 500 young women and men are participating in the training.
The opening speech was delivered by Mr. Bahamued Usman, Head of Asella City's Job Opportunity and Innovation Office. In his remarks, Mr. Bahamued highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in creating employment opportunities and fostering economic growth. He encouraged the participants to take full advantage of the training and apply the knowledge and skills gained to their business ventures.
The training is designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurship. The program aims to empower young women and men with the entrepreneurial mindset and capabilities to launch and sustain successful businesses. Upon completion of the training, participants will have the opportunity to receive business development support and resources to help them bring their business ideas to fruition.
The training is expected to contribute to the economic development of Asella City and the Oromia region by fostering entrepreneurship and creating new employment opportunities.
