The Environment and Social Risk Management (ESRM) training for staff and IPs from Amhara NRS concluded
The Environment and Social Risk Management (ESRM) training for staff and IPs from Amhara NRS: Bahirdar, Debremarkos, Gondar, and Dessie cities concluded successfully on November 29, 2024.
35 participants attended the three-day training, which aimed to ensure sustainable businesses for the MSEs through enhanced workplace safety, environmental protection, and minimized social and economic costs related to occupational injuries.
The training focused on creating conducive working conditions, promoting cleaner production and waste management practices, and ensuring adherence to the National Occupational Safety and Health Policy and Strategy, as well as the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF).
