Access to Finance Orientation

On November 25, 2025, Gelegu town hosted the Orientation on Access to Finance training, aimed at empowering women-owned MSMEs by enhancing their financial literacy. Organized by EDI in collaboration with AWEA, the half-day event offered guidance on accessing credit through the KIFIYA program. Participants were introduced to the legal and procedural requirements for financing and explored the available options. The initiative sought to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills and confidence to navigate financial systems, fostering independence and growth.
