Access to Finance Orientation

Successfully conducted on November 12, 2025, in Bahir Dar city, the "Orientation on Access to Finance" training was a targeted initiative to bolster women-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Jointly organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) and the Amhara Women Entrepreneurs Association (AWEA), the half-day session centered on elevating participants' financial literacy. It provided crucial guidance on the KIFIYA credit program, detailing the necessary legal and procedural steps for securing loans and outlining the range of financial products available. The core objective of the event was to arm women entrepreneurs with the practical knowledge and confidence required to effectively access and navigate financial services, thereby promoting increased economic self-reliance and sustainable business expansion.
