Access to finance ,for youths

The EDI trainers explained the process of accessing finance step by step. To obtain a loan of 342,000 Ethiopian Birr, an applicant must first complete the required training. The applicant also needs a guarantor who is an employed person earning a monthly salary of at least 10,000 Birr. In addition, the business license must be valid for more than one year. If the license has not yet reached one year, the applicant may still take a loan of 124,000 Birr. The applicant must also present a tax clearance certificate from the Revenue Authority. Marital status documentation is required: if the applicant is married, a marriage certificate must be provided; if unmarried, a certificate from the local kebele office is required. The guarantor must also provide proof of marital status—either a marriage certificate if married or a kebele certificate if unmarried. This step-by-step process ensures that all financial and legal requirements are met before the loan is approved.
