CETW Training Opens with Session One Empowering Lower-Literacy Women from IDP Communities in Aksum

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, EDI launched the two-day customized entrepreneurship training in Aksum on November 25, 2025, specifically designed for lower-literacy women from internally displaced communities. Using simplified tools, practical demonstrations, and group discussions, the session focused on building an entrepreneurial mindset and helping participants identify simple, manageable business opportunities that fit their daily realities. The session created a supportive learning environment that encouraged confidence, participation, and hope among women seeking to rebuild their livelihoods.
