Collaborative Strategies for Sustaining Entrepreneurial Momentum Post-GEW 2025, Arba Minch, Ethiopia

A team of trainers and facilitators from universities, colleges, TVETs (Technical and Vocational Education and Training), and various government offices met to reflect on the journey of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 and to strategize on maintaining momentum moving forward. Participants shared success stories from local entrepreneurs who benefited from GEW activities, highlighting the transformative impact of entrepreneurship training. They identified ongoing challenges such as limited access to capital and inadequate mentorship programs, and discussed actionable strategies to foster collaboration, including regular coordination meetings, continuous education initiatives, and the establishment of mentorship networks. By leveraging existing resources and setting clear goals for the upcoming year, the team expressed a strong commitment to enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Southern Ethiopia, ensuring that the enthusiasm generated during GEW continues to thrive.
