Empowering Grassroots Women Entrepreneurs

A community-level dialogue was organized to explore the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and to motivate unemployed women to launch their own businesses. The session brought together women who are currently running micro and small enterprises, as well as young women aspiring to become entrepreneurs. During the discussion, participants reflected on the barriers that hinder women from starting and growing their businesses, including limited access to finance, inadequate market linkages, household responsibilities, and gaps in business knowledge. Through facilitated dialogue, the group identified practical solutions and shared experiences on how to overcome these obstacles. The conversation also generated concrete recommendations aimed at strengthening womens entrepreneurship in their respective villages and towns, with a focus on creating supportive local environments for sustainable growth.
