Entrepreneurship awareness creation and Incubation Center visiting

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is an annual worldwide celebration that promotes innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Every year, millions participate in events and initiatives that inspire individuals to explore their potential as innovators and job creators.
For the 2025 version, Assoa Polytechnic College (APTC) joined this global movement with the mission to:
1.Foster entrepreneurship competencies among students, staff and furthermore as a college.
2.Strengthen linkages with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI Ethiopia)
3.Prepare the college community for the visiting Incubation Center
4.Align the college’s direction toward becoming a full Entrepreneurial College
APTC’s GEW program was grounded in sectoral needs, institutional aspirations, and the national priority to develop job creators equipped with practical skills, market-oriented mindsets, and innovative capability.
The collaboration with EDI Ethiopia was essential in:
1.Delivering high-quality technical workshops
2.Building the conceptual foundation for systems thinking
3.Strengthening entrepreneurship mindset development
4.Preparing a holistic and sustainable partnership agreement for ongoing capacity-building program
