Entrepreneurship Development Institute Signs MoU with Adigrat University to Advance GEW Collaboration

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adigrat University to strengthen cooperation in entrepreneurship development, innovation promotion, and capacity-building initiatives. The agreement was signed by Mr. Dagmawi Yohannes, Tigray Regional Coordinator of EDI, and Dr. Gebremicheal Woldegebriel, President of Adigrat University. The MoU establishes a joint framework for organizing and implementing Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) activities on the university campus, aiming to promote youth entrepreneurship, support innovative ideas, and deliver targeted training programs that enhance the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of both institutions and affirms their shared commitment to advancing entrepreneurship through events, workshops, and initiatives during GEW 2025 and beyond. The MoU becomes effective on 15 November 2025 and remains valid until 16 November 2026, with an option for extension upon mutual agreement.
