Experience sharing, Youth Entrepreneurship Training

ABYI ADI, TIGRAY The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) has marked a significant step in fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem by successfully hosting a specialized two-day Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Abyi Adi, Tigray. Running from November 24th to 25th, the program engaged four distinct groups to ensure a deeply personalized and effective learning experience. This initiative is a core component of EDIs broader strategic commitment to identifying and dismantling the systemic barriers to entrepreneurship, particularly for individuals in post-conflict regions. By implementing this targeted support, EDI is actively championing a model of economic rebuilding that prioritizes equity and access for all residents of Tigray. The meticulously designed curriculum covered the entire entrepreneurial journey, from initial ideation through to practical business operation, while specifically addressing the unique physical, social, and attitudinal challenges encountered by IDPs. EDI's investment in this high-impact, specialized training serves as a powerful testament to its belief that economic development must be both equitable and effective. The success of the Abyi Adi workshop establishes a critical precedent for future initiatives, underscoring EDI's pivotal role in ensuring that the rebuilding of Tigrays economy is inclusive and ultimately driven by the full potential of all its citizens.
