Field Visit to SME Loop Beneficiaries Conducted in Mekoni

The EDI regional team conducted a field visit to two SME Loop beneficiaries in Mekoni as part of the ongoing GEW 2025 activities. The visit aimed to assess progress, provide technical guidance, and understand the operational challenges faced by the entrepreneurs. The first beneficiary visited operates a liquid manufacturing enterprise, producing various liquid-based products for local markets. The second beneficiary is engaged in HCB (Hollow Concrete Block) manufacturing, contributing to the construction sector through locally produced building materials. During the visit, the team observed production processes, discussed constraints, and provided recommendations to help improve business performance and sustainability. Both beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the continuous follow-up and support offered through the SME Loop program.
