GEW 2025 Celebrated in Mekelle through a Youth Digital Engagement Session
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, EDI, Lilo Digital Academy, and Tinsae Training & Consultancy jointly conducted a half-day youth engagement event on November 24, 2025, in Mekelle, bringing together young people actively involved in digital innovation and online creative work. During the session, EDI delivered a presentation introducing GEW, its global significance, and the opportunities it creates for young digital entrepreneurs, followed by an in-depth discussion that allowed participants to reflect on digital entrepreneurship challenges, emerging opportunities, and ways to harness their skills for sustainable livelihoods. The event created a vibrant learning space and strengthened the visibility of GEW 2025 among digitally active youth in the region.
