GEW 2025: National Entrepreneurship Research Conference Concludes!
EDI successfully hosted the National Entrepreneurship Research Conference at the Sheraton Addis on November 27, marking a pivotal GEW Ethiopia 2025 event. Bringing together academics and ecosystem builders, the conference championed an evidence-based approach to policy and practice. 20 high-quality research papers were presented, generating actionable insights across three themes: Inclusive Entrepreneurship, Policy/Ecosystem Infrastructure, and Technology/Sustainable Enterprise. EDI Deputy Director General, Mr. Boru Shana, stressed that research must lead the ecosystem to ensure high-impact interventions. We proudly recognized Atsede Tesfaye (PhD) and Konjit Hailu (PhD) with the Best Research Paper Award for their exceptional work on Young Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This event cemented the vital synergy between academia and the business world!
