GEW 2025 Sensitization Program on Entrepreneurship Awareness at Tigray Art College

EDI Tigray conducted a sensitization session at Tigray Art College to raise awareness on Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2025) and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. The session was attended by 31 participants (22 male and 9 female) and facilitated by an EDI trainer who encouraged interactive discussions throughout. Mr. Mengsteab Tsegay, the Dean, actively participated, expressing appreciation for the initiative and helping ensure engagement. Participants discussed challenges within existing government regulations that may hinder entrepreneurship and explored whether formal directives or policies could strengthen entrepreneurial efforts. They also highlighted the need for leadership training to promote an innovation-friendly culture. The session concluded with a strong interest from the college community in ongoing collaboration with EDI, including involvement in club formation and related GEW activities scheduled for the following week.
