global entrepreneurships Week (GEW)

On November 8, 2018, the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) was celebrated in a grand manner at Yirgachefe Polytechnic College. The Dean of the College, Ato Kefelgen Alemu; the Deans of the College; the Head of the Yirgachefe City Employment and Skills Office and the Deputy Mayor of Yirgachefe, Ato Yosef Ayele; the College�s trainers; administrative staff; trainees; and model enterprises were present. Describing the benefits of celebrating the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Dean of the College, Ato Kefelgen Alemu, urged the College to implement an entrepreneurial mindset and instill the basics of entrepreneurship in each department. Head of the Yirgachefe City Employment and Skills Office And Ato Yosef Ayele, the Deputy Mayor of Yirgachefe, said that the government encourages entrepreneurs and that entrepreneurial thinking should not be a one-day job but a continuous activity. This should be done in a coordinated manner. Ato Abebayehu Tsegaye presented an article and discussion on entrepreneurship promotion, saying that entrepreneurship is a process of transforming motivation into behavior. Discussions were held on the establishment of an entrepreneurship club and the work culture of the community.
