Orientation on Accessing Finance

A special session on accessing financial resources was led by the Branch Manager of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, aimed at building a direct connection between entrepreneurs in JInka Polytechnic College and formal sources of funding. During the session, participants were guided through practical steps for securing capital. The manager explained in details an upcoming loan opportunity, outlining who is eligible and walking everyone through the application process step by step. The session’s main goal was to help participants better understand how the banking system works, build their confidence in pursuing formal financing, and equip them with the knowledge needed to make use of available financial support. By the end, entrepreneurs left with a clearer sense of how to move from learning to real-world financial investment. A total of 62 participants took part in the program, including 23 men and 39 women.
