Panel Discussion on: 1.Trend of Business Activities at Kelle town 2.Challenges and Opportunities of Business at Kelle town Contributions of Stakeholders on Business Improvements

Objectives: To Analyze business trends To identify opportunities and challenges To share responsibilities Outcome: more than 200 trainees and invite gusts were attended, shared and participated the panel discussion in Big hall at Kelle youth Center. The session was leaded by: Mr. Zemach Lemecha, Mayor H.E. Eng. Yohaness Hailu and Mr. Melkam Asfaw Among the trainees, 6 participant were got a chance to raise issues on the mentioned agendas. After the chairman (Zemach Lemecha’s elaboration on Agendas or activity titles Mrs. Shibre Abate was one of the participant and obtain a chance and she appricated the training, acknowledge the EDI, and put here views on above mentiond agendas. The business situation or trnd in kelle town is under problems eventhough there are many opportunities due to different infrastructural facilities like; Road, Electricity, Networks, Peace and Security Problems. Final she raised about access to finance concern. i.e. the time given to repay the loan is very short how can it possible. Mr. Tekalign Sajin was focused on Institutional Capacity Building Mr. Adane Anoche was focused on Stakeholders engagement should supported by zonal Government and EDI. Koore Zone is Rich in many Resources. Therefore, there is no problem about the business opportunities since the area is rich of cash crops. Howevere, we have only Infrastructure problems. All others raised similar concern with above friends and based on the concerns raise Panel Discussion leaders have reacted on the issues as follows; -Mayor H.E. Eng. Yohannes Hailu said that Business ternds in our area is very productive and profitable therefore, we are waiting for many investors The challenges according to the mayor less attation of government on infrastructure development and lack of Peace and Security. Mr. Zemach Lemacha also address some important point training, Acess to finance and Loan Process.
