Pannel Discussion

The panel discussion, led by Mr. Haftom from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute, focused on entrepreneurship in Ethiopia, which is increasingly recognized as a key driver of innovation, job creation, and economic growth. In recent years, the country has seen a rising interest in startups, particularly among young graduates, TVET trainees, and women seeking opportunities beyond traditional employment. This dynamic environment, shaped by entrepreneurs, government institutions, financial organizations, educational institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations and the private sector, collectively forms the country’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable economic development.
