Mr. Abebaw Reta, holder of Flashmount Electrical Works and a successful entrepreneur delivered a powerful message to TVET trainees and instructors. As a graduate of Dilla TVET, he highlighted the transformative power of technical and vocational education, noting that his company now provides employment opportunities for more than 30 young people. He emphasized that attending a Technical and Vocational College is not merely about earning a certificate but about practicing entrepreneurship, innovating, and building sustainable ventures. According to Mr. Abebaw, while a high-paying job may offer comfort, it does not guarantee long-term economic stability or the ability to create opportunities for others. Entrepreneurship, he explained, enables individuals to shape their future, empower their communities, and contribute to national growth and development. He concluded with a memorable message: “A salary sustains you, but entrepreneurship empowers you — to create jobs, build stability, and grow our nation.”
