Public entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem building Opening

The Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building training in Bedessa City was opened by Vice Mayor Mr. Biniam, with leaders from various public sectors in attendance. The program aimed to strengthen public leaders’ capacity to support a vibrant and innovative local economy and was aligned with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). In his remarks, the Vice Mayor stressed the importance of addressing public leadership challenges and fostering an enabling environment for entrepreneurship. The session emphasized the role of public institutions in driving innovation, improving service delivery, and supporting MSE development. It concluded by encouraging active participation, collaboration, and shared responsibility in building a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem for Bedessa.
