Round Two: Entrepreneurial Opportunity Seeking and Initiative Training for Arba Minch University Academic Staff, Arba Minch, Ethiopia

The second round of the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Seeking and Initiative Training took place at Arba Minch University, welcoming 41 academic staff members, which included 32 males and 9 females. This session continued to build on the importance of entrepreneurial skills among faculty, focusing on how to effectively identify and act upon business opportunities. The training objectives included clarifying the connection between unmet market demands and practical business opportunities, highlighting the need for creative solutions to drive innovation, and encouraging a proactive approach to opportunity recognition as a fundamental aspect of entrepreneurial success. Participants engaged in collaborative activities and hands-on exercises aimed at illustrating how to convert unmet needs into actionable business plans. Feedback indicated that attendees left feeling more empowered and prepared to take initiative, underlining the significance of their role in contributing to both personal and institutional growth within an entrepreneurial landscape.
