Tigray Bureau of Youth Affairs Engaged in GEW 2025 Sensitization to Strengthen Regional Entrepreneurship Movement
A sensitization and awareness creation session on Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, held in Mekelle under the global theme “Together WE Build,” brought together the Tigray Regional Bureau of Youth Affairs strengthen youth entrepreneurship and collaboration across the region. The session highlighted the global and local importance of GEW-2025, explored opportunities for youth engagement, and underscored the role of institutions in fostering innovation and startup culture. Participants discussed upcoming GEW 2025 activities, partnership modalities, and areas for joint action, while the Bureau’s Director expressed strong commitment to mobilize youth and expand entrepreneurship support programs. The event concluded with consensus on the need for continued collaboration beyond GEW through capacity building, mentorship, and visibility for young innovators, marking a key milestone in aligning stakeholders toward empowering Tigray’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
