Value Creation Exercise During Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building Workshop at Arba Minch University, Ethiopia

As part of the ongoing Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building Workshop for the administrative management of Arba Minch University, participants took part in a Value Creation exercise, marking a significant event during Global Entrepreneurship Week. Managed by Woldemariam, Daniel, and Dagne, the session included 42 participants divided into seven collaborative groups. Utilizing the Design Thinking methodology, these groups focused on understanding customer challenges to identify problems and formulate rapid, innovative solutions through Solution Sprints. This structured, nine-step framework allowed teams to create compelling value propositions effectively. At the end of the session, trainers from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) acknowledged and rewarded the group that presented the most outstanding value creation concept, emphasizing the importance of the Solution Sprint methodology in speeding up the development and evaluation of new product or service ideas.
