Value Creation Exercise During Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building Workshop at Arba Minch University, Ethiopia

During the ongoing Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building Workshop for Arba Minch University's administrative management, participants actively engaged in a Value Creation exercise, a highlight of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Led by trainers Kibrom, Aster, and Gezahgn, the 62 participants, organized into six collaborative groups, utilized the Design Thinking approach to empathize with customer challenges, identify problems, and design rapid, innovative solutions through Solution Sprints. This structured, nine-step exercise enabled teams to develop compelling value propositions successfully. At the conclusion, trainers from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) recognized and awarded the team presenting the best value creation concept, underscoring the lesson that the Solution Sprint methodology effectively accelerates the creation and testing of product or service ideas.
