Webinar on How to Prepare for Business Idea Competition

On November 7, 2025, as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) celebration, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) conducted a webinar session for 30 students from Hawassa University’s Agriculture Campus. The session focused on the topic “How to Prepare for a Business Idea Competition.” The webinar was moderated by Ms. Tsigerada W/Michael, with Mr. Abrham Aberra serving as the invited guest and panelist. During the discussion, key points were addressed, including how students can effectively prepare for business idea pitching from the initial concept development to the final presentation. Following the main discussion, a question-and-answer session was held, where participants raised insightful questions such as what major factors contribute to a successful pitch and what possible sources of income can be used to start a business. The moderator and panelist responded with practical guidance, sharing valuable experiences and advice to help students strengthen their entrepreneurial preparation and confidence.
