Women Entrepreneurs in Adwa Receive Financial Guidance and Support

ABYI ADI, TIGRAY The Global Entrepreneurship Network, in a significant step towards inclusive economic development, concluded a highly successful Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop in Abyi Adi on November 25th. The two-day event, held on November 24th and 25th, was specifically designed to empower Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), equipping them with the foundational skills to launch and sustain their own ventures. This targeted initiative provided a supportive environment for four distinct groups of aspiring entrepreneurs, focusing on turning unique challenges into marketable opportunities and fostering self-reliance within the community. The workshop curriculum moved beyond generic business advice, addressing the specific barriers and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs with disabilities. Participants engaged in modules on accessible business modeling, tailored financial literacy, and strategies for marketing products and services in a way that highlights their unique strengths. This initiative by the Global Entrepreneurship network underscores a core belief: that entrepreneurship is a powerful vehicle for inclusion, and that empowering every member of society, including the 4 groups of PWDs in Abyi Adi, is essential for building a resilient and dynamic local economy in Tigray.
