Women Entrepreneurship Training

A two-day Women Entrepreneurship Training Workshop was successfully conducted in Bahir Dar City on November 11-12, 2025. Organized by EDI in partnership with the Amhara Women Entrepreneurs Association (AWEA), the event was designed to empower women-owned MSMEs. It equipped participants with essential entrepreneurial skills, including business planning, strategic goal setting, and idea generation. The interactive format facilitated the exploration of key entrepreneurial competencies and allowed for powerful peer-to-peer experience sharing. This fostered a supportive professional network and instilled a resilient, growth-oriented mindset, marking the event as a significant milestone for women-led businesses in the region.
