Youth Entrepreneurship Training

Running concurrently with the IDP workshops, the first session of the Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (CETW) for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) commenced on November 28, 2025. This session was centered on leveraging unique strengths, encouraging participants to identify business niches where their perspectives offer a competitive advantage. The training utilized assistive technologies and accessible learning materials to ensure that every attendee could fully engage with the core concepts of starting a business. The spirit of GEW-2025 is about breaking barriers, and this opening session of the Nov 2829 event exemplified that mission. Facilitators focused on "ability-first" business models, exploring opportunities in the digital economy and service sectors that accommodate various physical mobility needs. The atmosphere was one of discovery and empowerment, as participants realized that entrepreneurship offers a pathway to independence that traditional employment structures often deny them.
