Youth Entrepreneurship Training in Arba Minch, Ethiopia: Identifying Business Opportunities

The aim of the training was to empower youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within their communities. The youth entrepreneurship training commenced with the registration of trainees and welcoming remarks that set a positive tone for the event. The opening remarks introduced the trainer, Mr. Awel Beker. During the training, participants engaged in group work to diagnose problems in their community and identify unutilized resources. They went on to list possible business opportunities and generated numerous business ideas, which they presented to fellow trainees. This collaborative effort not only fostered creativity but also encouraged participants to think critically about entrepreneurial solutions relevant to their local context.
