Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) Opening Ceremony

A one-day Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) was organized for graduating class students from the College of Natural and Computational Sciences at Hawassa University. During the opening ceremony, Dr. Zufan Bedewi, Dean of the College, delivered welcoming remarks and shared insightful reflections on the significance of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025. Following her address, Mrs. Tigist Assefa, Coordinator of the Hawassa University Entrepreneurship Center, presented a keynote speech highlighting the importance of GEW 2025 and its role in fostering entrepreneurial awareness among students. The training commenced in the morning with 59 participants—11 female and 48 male students—who actively took part in the sessions designed to inspire innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
